Peter Dooley
Peter Dooley started his legal career with the Courts of Petty Sessions where he worked until 1971. He then joined Paul Matthews and later Graham Gibson to form Matthews Dooley & Gibson, Solicitors at Blacktown. After a short period as a sole practitioner at Penrith he worked with Lamrocks before being called to the Bar in 1986, where he was a founding member of Lachlan Macquarie Chambers. He practiced in a number of areas before settling on Personal Injury Law. He was an Arbitrator with the District Court for a number of years. A much admired and respected member, Peter Dooley remained a charismatic personality in chambers until his retirement in 2012.
Peter passed away on 14th December 2019.
