Judge Dillon Morley
Judge Morley is a Judge of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia at Sydney.
His Honour graduated with a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Sydney in 1983 and was admitted as a legal practitioner in 1985.
His Honour was a clerk in the Supreme Court of New South Wales Registry from 1976 until the end of 1979, and was then a law clerk at Clayton Utz from 1980 until 1985.
He practiced as a solicitor for 28 years at Lamrocks Solicitors, primarily in the areas of family law as well as in succession law, criminal law, and general civil litigation.
His Honour became a partner at Lamrocks in on 1 April 1988 and later a director of their incorporated legal practice, before being called to the Bar in 2013 and taking Chambers at Lachlan Macquarie Chambers.
His Honour qualified as an accredited family law specialist in 1994 and was appointed an Independent Children’s Lawyer the same year, His Honour qualified as a nationally accredited mediator in 2008 through Bond University (QLD) and was a registered family dispute resolution practitioner.
His Honour was appointed to the Federal Circuit Court of Australia in March 2019, and presides over family law matters.
