| Qualifications | LLB (Hon) Peter has been practicing in the area of Criminal Law since 1984, initially as a NSW Police Prosecutor (7 years) appearing in a variety of jurisdictions including the Local Court, the Children's Court and Coroner's Court. He awarded an LLB (Hon - UTS) in 1992; admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW the same year. He was employed by various Government Departments including the NSW Office of the DPP, NSW Legal Aid Commission and the Office of the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions. Called to the New South Wales Bar in 2001. Previous member of following panels: • State DPP • Work Safe • RSPCA Appears in the following areas of practice: • criminal proceedings - all jurisdiction including appellate jurisdiction • disciplinary and professional tribunal • Coroners Court • Extradition Proceedings, both domestic and international Other work: • Written advising • Presentation of Papers to Law Society (regional) and Internal Bar Association. |
