Qualifications | LLB, BA, LLM John is a foundation member of Lachlan Macquarie Chambers (1986) Graduated with a BA in 1961, a LLB in 1963, a LLM in 1971 all from Sydney University. Admitted as a solicitor on 16 March 1964, admitted to the Bar on 9 February 1968. John Shaw celebrated 50 years as a Barrister on 9 February 2018. His main area of practice is in Family Law including Appeals to the Full Court. He also practices in the Supreme Court of NSW in Equity and in Family Provision Claims, more particularly. John Shaw has made a number of appearances in the Full Court of the Family Court of Australia: more recently in the Full Court of the Federal Circuit & Family Court of Australia.
